This weeks games of the day start with a huge derby in the Northern Premier League as Ilkeston Town welcome Basford United to The New Manor Ground. This Derbyshire v Nottinghamshire game looks a cracker on paper with both sides looking for 3 big points and bragging rights. With the cold weather and The NMG a plastic surface. This game should 100% be on. 

In United Counties League Premier North AFC Mansfield host Newark & Sherwood United at The Forest Town Arena. The Bulls are on the back of a goal fest 4-3 on the road to Wisbech last week while The Highwaymen upset Melton Town 3-1. With both sides in the wrong half of the table, they'll both be looking to add another 3 points to last weeks results and stretch the gap to the relegation zone. 

 In United Counties League Division 1 Rainworth Miners Welfare take on Sandiacre Town. Another huge game at the bottom of the table. The Wrens sit bottom in 21st 6 points behind Sandiacre who are in 18th. Sandiacre's form has picked up recently with just the 1 loss in the last 5 while Rainworth haven't won since mid Nov. Both sides will see this as a must win if they want to be playing step 6 football next season. 

In NCEL Division 1, an all Derbyshire affair is our pick of the day as Dronfield Town welcome Clay Cross Town to HE Barnes Stadium. The sides have already met twice this season, once in the league 1-1 and once in the league cup 3-1 to Dronfield. As always with a derby game. Its expected to be played at 100% commitment and should be a cracker to watch. 

Our away day of the week comes in NCEL D1 as Shirebrook Town travel to Rotherham to take on Parkgate at their Roundwood Pavilion ground. In this 1st v 3rd game. 3rd placed Shirebrook sit just 2 points behind Parkgate but have played 5 games more than the table toppers. Shirebrook will be hoping for a big 3 points to put the pressure on those games in hand.
