Games of the day

Our 1st pick of the day is a huge FA Cup tie as Alfreton Town welcome Walsall of League 2 and BBC camera for a 12:30 kick off. Cupset on the cards? 'Often are in good form while Walsall are without a league win in 6.

Another huge cup game in The FA Vase as Eastwood CFC host Stourport Swifts of the Midland League. Both sides in good form going into this 3rd round tie. Eastwood will look to make home advantage count against Stourport who have already knocked out Sherwood Colliery on their cup run. 

A big game at the wrong end of the UCL Premier North as 2 of our sides meet. Hucknall Town take on Newark & Sherwood United at RM Stadium. 17th meets 16th in this one. Both teams will be looking at this game to pick up a huge 3 points for their survival hopes. Should be a cracker. 

In NCEL D1 Dronfield Town face Staveley Miners Welfare. Just 7 miles separate these local Derbyshire rivals, if this game lives up to the last in The Derbyshire Cup which was 4-4. You'll be entertained. 

Nottinghamshire Senior Trophy is our last pick of the day. Wollaton FC of NSL take on CMAL D1 side Blidworth Welfare. Wollaton sit 4th in their league while Blid are top and unbeaten. All the makings of a fantastic cup tie. 

Away days

Mickleover make the trip to The Grove to take on Halesowen Town. The Grove is never an easy place to visit and Sports will be looking to extend their gap at the top of the league in what looks on paper to be one of the toughest places to visit in the league. 

Away games in UCL Premier North don't come much harder than a visit to The Uni to face The Students. A world class facility on a carpet of a pitch against a bunch of ex academy lads still playing full time. This is the task for Sav's Sherwood Colliery side. Unbeaten in 15, The Wood might just look at this as their toughest test in the league yet. 

If you are looking to tick a new ground this weekend. The 2 ground on the away days are most certainly one for the list. You wont be disappointed by either.
